You asked for more opportunities to stay at Deer's Mead, and we're delighted to say we've made it happen! After asking our guests and followers whether they'd like to see Deer's Mead open throughout the year, the response was a resounding YES!
So we're incredibly excited to announce that Deer's Mead is now open 365 days a year, bringing year-round adults-only touring and camping to our peaceful corner of North Norfolk.
A New Chapter for Deer's Mead
For many years, Deer's Mead has welcomed guests between March and October, with the gates traditionally closing as autumn draws to an end. But, with growing interest in touring beyond the summer months, we wanted to explore the possibility of keeping Deer's Mead open all year.
After receiving such an enthusiastic response from our guests, we submitted a planning application to extend our opening season. We're delighted that the application has now been approved, allowing us to welcome visitors throughout all 12 months of the year. Read what our guests had to say when asked on facebook.
"We've always known how much our guests love Deer's Mead, but the response when we asked about opening all year was fantastic. We're delighted to make it happen and to continue developing both parks for the future," commented site owner, Christian Attew.
With just 35 spacious pitches, surrounded by woodland near Erpingham, Deer's Mead will continue to offer everything our guests love about the park: peaceful surroundings, excellent modern facilities and a welcoming, adults-only atmosphere.
Only now, there's even more time to enjoy it!

Supporting Year-Round Tourism in North Norfolk
North Norfolk has so much to offer beyond the traditional summer holiday season, from its beautiful coastline and countryside to its independent shops, welcoming pubs and local attractions. As more visitors discover the appeal of quieter, off-season breaks, we're pleased to play our part in making North Norfolk a destination to enjoy throughout the year.
By extending our season, we hope to encourage more visitors to explore the area during the autumn and winter months, supporting the local pubs, cafés, shops and businesses that make this part of Norfolk such a special place to visit. For our guests, it means more opportunities to enjoy everything the region has to offer, without having to wait until spring.

Two Parks, One Growing Family
This exciting development also marks another step forward for our family of Norfolk holiday parks.
As the larger sister park, Deer's Glade in Hanworth, we've welcomed guests all year round for some time, offering a wide range of touring, camping, glamping and holiday cottage accommodation. Deer's Mead offers something a little different.
We've also recently celebrated the launch of Mole Cottage, a beautifully renovated luxury holiday cottage with its own private hot tub. Joining our existing Fox and Hare Cottages, it means we can now accommodate groups of up to 12 guests across three separate cottages.
Deer's Mead offers something a little different. With just 35 pitches, an adults-only setting and peaceful woodland surroundings, it's particularly suited to couples and guests who enjoy a quieter touring experience.
Together, these developments give our guests more choice, whether they're looking for a family holiday, a luxury glamping break or a relaxing adults-only escape.
While each park has its own unique character, they share the same commitment to welcoming guests, providing excellent facilities and making the most of our beautiful North Norfolk surroundings.
Here's to More Adventures, All Year Round!
We're incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts when we asked about extending the season.
Your enthusiasm has helped shape this exciting new chapter for Deer's Mead, and we can't wait to welcome both familiar faces and new visitors throughout the year.
