Temporary Fire Restrictions
Applies to Deer's Glade, Deer's Mead & Muntjac Meadow
Due to the continued hot and dry weather and following guidance from Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service, we have temporarily introduced additional fire safety measures across Deer's Glade, Deer's Mead and Muntjac Meadow.
No fires or charcoal BBQs
Until conditions improve, fires are not permitted anywhere on our sites. This includes:
- Campfires and open fires
- Fire pits
- Charcoal BBQs
- Any other open flames
We appreciate that sitting around a fire or enjoying a BBQ can be part of the camping experience, and we're sorry for any disappointment this may cause. However, the exceptionally dry ground and vegetation mean the risk of fire is currently much higher than usual.
Can I still use a gas BBQ?
Gas BBQs are currently permitted, but we ask guests to take extra care. Please keep them well away from dry grass and vegetation, use them on a stable surface and never leave them unattended.
These restrictions are temporary and will be reviewed as conditions change.
Thank you to all our guests for your understanding and for helping us keep Deer's Glade, Deer's Mead, Muntjac Meadow and the surrounding Norfolk countryside safe.
