Farmers' Markets are the prime opportunity for you to get to know the area by its food and purchase only the best of what Norfolk has to offer. Norfolk is well-known as a rural county with an exceptional farming community. Purchasing local produce, especially from local farms and direct from pick-your-own fields as seasonal produce has massively grown in popularity for consumers. As farmers ourselves we're definitely advocates of buying locally grown, low mileage produce from neighbouring farms and independent shops.
Farmers Markets are bursting at the seams with amazing fresh produce. Not only fruit and veg but also artisan breads, cheeses, baked goods. It is not only a lovely activity for your holiday, especially for those camping brekkies, but an opportunity to feel part of a local community. Talk to the people who grow and prepare the food and the pride taken in everything they do.
